No? GOOD! We aren’t contortionists either! We welcome all degrees of flexibility and body types. Yoga is about a lot more than poses (asana) and can benefit everyone!
No worries - we aren’t either! If you are frazzled, stressed, tired, anxious, or short tempered you are the perfect people to benefit from yoga! If you have never mediated a day in your life but are interested in trying, we can get you started! All we ask is that you keep an open mind and try things. There are many approaches which may resonate for you.
You are totally welcome if you are, but you don’t need to fit in that small demographic to be a yogi. Are you a male who feels like yoga is just for females? Do you feel you aren’t in good enough shape to participate? Do you not see other people who look like you in yoga classes? Do you think you are too old or too young? THIS is your place. We welcome all beginners regardless of race, gender, body type, age, sexual orientation, physical ability and experience level.
Awesome if you can (we can still teach you something more)! If not and you have never heard of anything besides “down dog” we got you! No need to know the lingo to start.
